Ten Years of Thanks and a Small Change

thank you for support

Right off the jump, this is about 2 months late, but I decided to slow down at the end of 2025 to spend time with family, friends, and see the direction I wanted to go in 2026!

It’s crazy to think that we celebrated 10 years of full-time WordPress support back in November of 2025. While iMark Interactive is officially 12 years old, I didn’t step away from my full time job for two years while I was building up the business. I finally stepped away from that job security (scary!) in November of 2015.

A Slow Buildup to Success

Any business owner knows it can take a long time to hit your goals. I took my time building iMark Interactive during the first two years while I was working a full time job. It was slow, but steady.

Once I left, I put my foot on the gas and we started growing. I went to conferences, got on podcasts, wrote a ton of blog posts and more to market iMark Interactive. It was a slow build up to get the business in the direction I wanted to go.

The real catalyst to the success of this business was just treating our customers right. Showing them respect and making them feel comfortable with all the tech ins and outs when working on WordPress.

When you treat people right, they reciprocate. Our customers were the main driver in new signups for monthly support and just normal services. Our referrals were (and still are) our #1 marketing method.

I’m happy where iMark Interactive is after 10 years of being at the helm all the time guiding the ship. While the waters are getting choppy with AI and Google these days, I know we have great customers who are hungry for success and we are hungry to help them as best we can.

That’s why we have a little surprise for our monthly support customers (and any who want to become one in the future). If you are on the fence, you can sign up here.

Saying Thanks and Making a Change

In celebrating our ten years, I wanted to personally thank all of our customers who have used our services. This includes our monthly support customers and those who reach out to use when they just need quality support. We wouldn’t be here without you.

But to be completely honest, I have been looking at ways we can be a bit different than other providers in this WordPress support space. Our monthly support customers are the ones who are with us every month, getting updates, getting support, and giving us ideas regularly. Because of this, we want to reward them and make a small change that benefits those who are on any support plan level.

Starting today (2/5/2026), we have decided to release custom plugins for our active monthly support customers. Currently we have 9 custom plugins we have created with direct feedback from many of our long-time customers. This is just the beginning!

These plugins will be available in our iMark Toolkit plugin and can be installed at your leisure. They provide different things and we will be constantly building new ones based on customer feedback and information.

In order to see the plugin manager page in our toolkit, you first to the iMark Toolkit WordPress menu in your sidebar and it will validate that your site is allowed access. Once verified, it will refresh and the plugin manager option will show up in the menu sidebar.

Currently, we have:

Engagement Blocks – this includes AI buttons, Google Trusted Source button, Featured Comment block, and new block patterns that we will be adding to as we come up with new ideas.
Link Beacon – this is our link checker on steroids. It not only checks for links both internal and external, it shows where they are, the alt text of the links, the HTTP status, and you can edit, delete, or even change the linked text/link relation in the tool.
Image Auditor – we built an image plugin to show you which images are not used, which are missing alt text (which you can sync the alt text to all locations where the images are used), broken images, and ones that are bigger than the recommended size.
RUM Tracker – this has nothing to do with the drink. RUM (Real User Monitoring) collects first party data from your users to see how their experience is. This is directly tied to core web vitals. if you have issues with core web vitals, this plugin can give you the answers as to where the issue lies.
Kadence Custom Category Headings – a simple plugin but powerful for SEO. This allows those with the Kadence theme to have different H1 headings on their category archive pages than what the category name is. This is recommended by several SEO professionals and an easy way to have better on-page SEO.
Primary Category Editor – this plugin current supports only Yoast (we are working on RankMath) but you can not only see what you have selected as the primary category in the all posts page, but you can also change it in the quick edit function if you find it’s wrong. You can also disable the modifed date from updating in the quick edit option.
Auto Blocks Inserter – this plugin started it all for us. This plugin is a block inserter with a lot of power. You can create blocks (think of these as reusable blocks) and insert them into posts in different areas. You can insert them below images, before headings, before recipe cards, and many other areas. You can also do it based on the primary category you have set in your SEO plugin. This allows you to insert blocks all over your site in just one place.
Post Index Status – this simple plugin allows you to scan all your pages/posts to see if any of them are set to noindex in your SEO plugin settings. You can see the status in the all posts screen as well. This is a plugin that you can install, run, then deactivate.
Editor Search Filter – WordPress decided to push different post types and image attachment pages into the internal editor search feature. So when you are searching for links, it was getting messy. This plugin allows you to choose which things you want to remove from showing up in your link search when in the editor.

You can see all of our plugin guides in one place to make it easy to understand how to use them. We will continuously update this page with more guides and changes.

We Are Starting a Newsletter

I know, I know. If you have met me, you know I’m not a fan of email newsletters. Not because they aren’t effective, but just because writing is not my specialty anymore.

But after many people asking who were on our monthly support and not following our Facebook group, I decided to offer it. You can sign up directly on your site in the iMark Toolkit dashboard page.

So Why Are We Doing This?

To be clear, this isn’t a slight to our one-time/as-needed customers. We still appreciate you and will be here for you to help you when you need it.

But our monthly support customers are the ones who invest money every month to be on our support plans and we want to provide them with all the benefits they can get. We want them to feel supported each and every day. We want them all to be seen and heard on how to make it easier to run their businesses on WordPress.

If you aren’t a monthly customer and are interested, you can get access to our plugins by joining any support plan level. From Protect to Aim. Every customer on an active plan now will get access to these plugins and any future plugins/blocks for as long as they are an active monthly customer.

It’s important to know that these are only available to active support plan customers. When you are no longer on a support plan, these plugins will deactivate and you can’t use them. We do this because we are investing a lot of time and money into building these tools for our customers and it wouldn’t be fair to active plan members when others can use them without investing in a plan.

At the end of the day, we are a support company and we want to reward our monthly customers with the best tools we can. We will still be here to help anyone who needs WordPress support, but we are focused on building awesome tools for our active support customers in 2026!

Thank you to all our customers for a great 10 years and we are excited to be your WordPress support company!
